Who are we?

Pied Pipers was founded in 1951 by Rex Freeman, Terry Hawes , John Waller and friends to perform reviews and musicals. By the time of the Golden Jubilee in 2001 the club had performed 60 shows at various venues in Cambridge, mainly at the Arts Theatre, the Mumford Theatre or the ADC Theatre. Since that time the club has successfully put on a further nine shows, making 69 productions in total.

Membership is by audition and is open to anyone with a keen interest in either singing, acting, dancing, or preferably all three. Auditions usually take place approximately two months prior to a production. Auditions are friendly, relaxed occasions and take place in private with the Production Director, Musical Director, Choreographer and one management committee member. Do not be nervous; everyone is very welcoming, understanding and friendly. Please contact the Secretary for details.
