Our Club AGM is only a week away: a chance to catch up with your musical pals, enjoy sumptuous nibbles, cheer the latest recipient of the Martin Steele Award, and maybe learn our exciting plans for 2020 (if the licencors get back to us in time...!).
But that means right now is the time to go over the minutes from the last meeting, and preview the agenda for next Monday. Both documents can be downloaded by clicking here.
Even if you haven't joined us for AGMs in the past, checking the minutes can be a great way to familiarise yourself with what's in store.
You don't have to be a member to join us for the evening – but you do have to be a member if you want to vote on any matters, and/or join our committee. Membership is only £10, and can be paid on the day if you see any of our current committee.
And don't forget: there's still time to nominate yourself or a fellow member to join the committee! The form is available by clicking here. Please note that, as per our constitution you won't be able to nominate yourself from the floor unless there are vacancies on the committee after all nominees have joined.
Time's run out for nominating recipients of the Martin Steele Award, though – the beneficiary of that honour has been selected! All will be revealed on Monday...
A final reminder of how to get there: head to OLEM Catholic Church, cross the car park, walk past the school... and aim for the sounds of fun!
A huge thanks to our outgoing committee – (in the picture, clockwise from left) Chip Colquhoun, Emma Harpley, Megan Stickler-Sell, Jo Grantham, Madeline Harmer, Andrew Taylor, Laura Roberts, and (sadly missing from the picture) Tom Greenhalgh – for seeing us through 2018 to 2019!
