Director/Choreo double-act Bryony Sullivan and Helen Garner welcome you to their vision for the show – and Cambridge community theatre in general – alongside Musical Director Andrew Taylor.

We are delighted to be working with the Pied Pipers again, and hope you are as
excited to get flying with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as we are!
Chitty is a much-loved family show that appeals to all generations. It is fun and
colourful, and we are very much looking forward to bringing it to life at the ADC in
September. We hope to introduce some new ideas to the Cambridge theatre scene, including exploring the possibility of a “Relaxed Performance” with a sign-language interpreter, to really enable everyone to enjoy the magic.
For the adults, auditions will mainly follow the familiar format: acting and singing
will be assessed individually, with initial dance auditions taking place in small
groups. For the children, initial auditions will take place in a workshop format; for
more details on the auditions, click here.
