Want to know our vision for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this coming September, and maybe get involved? Join us for our "Intro Evening" on Wed 17th April!
This autumn, the Pied Pipers will take musical theatre in Cambridge to new heights! To celebrate 50 years since the original film, with its themes of invention, adventure and flying cars, this iconic show has been released to select community producers for a limited time only – so we’re thrilled to have been chosen to produce it for the ADC Theatre in Cambridge.
Bring your high expectations (literally!), and be prepared to drive, sail and fly from an authentic post-war Britain to a fantastical land with even more fantastical characters. As Grandpa Potts says: “Never say ‘No’ to adventures!”
The creative team behind our 2018 production of Anything Goes will be sharing their vast experience and talent with another bedazzling community cast and crew – which could include you!
Whether you see yourself as Chitty's onstage inventor Caractacus Potts, or an offstage inventor willing to help Chitty fly with a combination of technical, lighting and/or sound wizardry, we'd love to hear from you! And your first chance to meet our creative team, and learn their vision for the show, is our Intro Evening on Wednesday 17th April.
Join us from 7:30pm in the large hall at the far side of Our Lady & the English Martyrs Catholic Church in Cambridge (access via the church car park – head through the gate at the back, passing the school on your right). Light refreshments will be provided too – please let us know if you have any dietary requirements you'd like us to accommodate.
Don't worry if you can't make it, though — you can still audition and/or apply to be part of the show, and you're welcome to ask for information in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Plus keep checking our website for the soon-to-be-released audition pack.
